Our Professional Debbie Garbett
Debbie Garbett is a Qualified PGA Golf Professional attached to Churchill and Blakedown Golf Club.
Debbie qualified in 2004 and won “Female Trainee of the year” in her final year of training for best examination results. She was presented her award by Nigel Mansell. She now has more than 10 years coaching and teaching experience.
Debbie's career started as an assistant at a local member's club and left in 1998 to pursue her teaching qualification at a pay and play club.
She worked at this latter club for nine years and built a healthy junior section for the club until she decided that she wanted to work for herself. She continues to teach juniors and is attached to a local school and works closely with the school helping to bring on up and coming young golfers.
Debbie offers lessons to both members of the Club and to non-members. She is available to give individual lessons on the course or individual and group lessons at either of the two driving ranges where she teaches.
If you are an experienced golfer wanting to improve your game, or if you are a non-player wanting to take up the game, Debbie can guarantee to improve your skills and more importantly, teach you how to enjoy the wonderful game of golf.
